Play: a group show

6 – 30 July 2023

An exhibition of artworks on the theme of ‘play’. The works in this group exhibition all respond to different notions of play and allow us to engage with ideas and images of entertainment, joy and amusement. There is a tension between literal depictions of play through to subversive takes on perception, visual gags, and slightly more sinister allusions to playfulness.
