Heat Map

Carissa Samaniego & Bree Lamb

24 Dec 2026 – 17 Jan 27

Heat Map is a two-person, mixed media exhibition of works by New Mexico based artists Carissa Samaniego and Bree Lamb. Heat Map invites viewers to wander through landscapes where the ordinary begins to shimmer with possibility – where tourist monuments, sacred visions, and ubiquitous images reveal unexpected elements of wonder. The exhibition traces parallel forms of pilgrimage – one rooted in vernacular spiritual belief, the other emerging through tourism and image circulation – revealing a shared yearning for a contemporary sublime. Heat Map invites viewers to consider how we seek meaning in an increasingly mediated world, and how ordinary objects and images can function as portals for reflection and collective meaning.

Private View: Friday 8th January 18:30 – 20:30
