At the Beach explores the aspirational ideals tied to holidays through a series of large and small-scale drawings that examine colour, form, and line. The process of making is one of discovery—mirroring an investigation into imagery and its connection to societal expectations. The beach becomes a liminal space, sold as a site of escape and pleasure, yet layered with tension between personal experience and cultural projection. The drawings are immediate and immersive, encouraging viewers to navigate the space intuitively. The exhibition invites reflection, encouraging audiences to engage creatively and question the aspirational images and ideals promoted by contemporary society.
