To colour an experience

This exhibition, ‘To colour an experience’, unites the work of two artists, Clare Davidson and Coco Morris, and continues a dialogue that started a few years ago. They had a two person exhibition titled ‘Through the portal’ (2022) at Soho Review Gallery, showing large and smaller works. The idea of openings and portals continues in their works. Both artists explore colour-form relationships and use colour as a way to create and examine space. Their work explores the foundational building blocks of painting. The central enquiry considers how much needs to be left in, or what can be removed, to make a painting work.
