We live amongst wrecks, ships, buildings, plans, ideas – each of them moments of disaster, fragments of collapsed and collided things. We cling to them, salvage them, re-configure them. Out of wrecks we make rafts – new journeys, new ways of surviving, new amalgamations.

In Wreck/Raft artist Anno Mitchell reimagines the gallery as the container of the shifting shaping and reshaping between Wreck and Raft. Making new hybrids, new forms of both Wreck and Raft.
